I came across your photos, and recognized Palmer Road. I wonder if you could do me a favour and take a photo in Frankfort Road around the corner, as I used to live there in 1970s and remember it as being very narrow. I loved Muizenberg and am so glad that it is being revitalised.

Hi there again.
It's not easy to find a street map of Muizenberg to help me describe to you exactly where it is(I could walk there from the sea front), just around the back of the shops on Atlantic Rd, but I think I have located Frankfort Rd. It is two streets down from Palmer Rd going towards Alexander Rd. We lived in a double story house (split into 2flats, small front garden with an hibiscus, next door to a hotel on the corner. I believe that the area became very dodgy in the 90s so didn't go and have a look on my last visits to CT.

I also lived in 42 Cromer Rd in a cute terraced Victorian house. Wonder if it is still there.

Whereabouts is your office to have such fantastic views over the bay? I so envy you. I have such good memories of Muizenberg, and was lucky enough to see 2 whales in the bay from a friends house up on the hillside. An amazing sight! But whales were rare then,(1977)seem to be far more seen now.

Nice to have found your blog, and the lovely photos. I will keep looking!

Hey Jude, Thanks for those street instructions, I will do my best next week to take pictures of those 2 houses - promise.

Our office is opposite the railway station, hence the see views.

And lastly, thank you for those kind words.

Chers
