I immediately recognized this beauty on the portal. I spent many happy hours in them in the '60's as a flight attendant on a small feeder airline in the Midwest of the US. Love your photos; it's a beauty, too.

Glad to see another one flying!
Catalina Airlines has 2 or 3 DC-3 that does a delivery run from LB to Calatina Island 26 miles away daily. We sit outside at work & watch it take off (usually around noon) & NEVER tire of it.
