Tried something different with this picture, I removed all the colour other than blue.
What do you guys and girls think.
Be honest (please).

This is a image of a rather rare species of protea "The black Bearded Protea", when up close and personal this is one awesome plant.

It a bum life
They say drinking in the morning is a clear sign of something. But drunk, passed out and vomiting by 8:30am is something a person (above) needs a ass kicking for.
PS - his dog saw me take the picture and barked, he did not.
PSS - every car that drove by hooted.
Oh and the very last thing on this picture, he is lying outside a community center that is filled to the roof with USAID workers, not one of them helped him out. What is the point of a community center when a member of the community is in trouble on your door step, and the most they did was step over him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers

Pillar and wave
I was testing my Pentax K10d 's image stabilizer with this picture - never used this feature before.
Anyways; of the below that I am most impressed about is the zoom and the shutter speed.
ISO - 100
Zoom - 230mm
F-stop - f11
Shutter - 1/50 sec
I do fear though that this is all I will be doing for the next few weeks, i.e. low shutter speed shots.

Surfs up
With my 18-250mm lens zoomed in all the way i.e. 250mm this guys was still quite away away. Over and above the lack of quality in the picture - the surfer himself was awesome.
Just out of interest, this picture was taken closer to Kalk Bay than Muizenberg, but we are talking millimetres here. That is Simons Town (South Africa Naval head quarters) in the distant back ground.
